Cloudflare launched an open beta of cf, a new CLI designed to replace Wrangler by exposing the company's full platform to AI coding agents1. Wrangler covers roughly 280 operations; cf spans thousands, with natural-language search, JSON-default output, and a TypeScript-based configuration format (cloudflare.config.ts). Agent usage of Wrangler reached 48% last week, up from a quarter in March 2026. Cloudflare said it will maintain Wrangler for 18 months after the beta ends. The CLI uses Vite as its default build tool.
