Plain version: your email, whether you opened the newsletter, and which pages you used. We do not sell your data and we run no advertising or tracking cookies. Your card details never touch our servers.
We have never sold personal data and have no plans to. There are no advertising trackers on this site.
Account. Your email address, and a name if you choose to give one. Required to create an account and to sign you in.
Payment. Handled entirely by Paddle. We receive a subscription status and the country used for tax purposes. We never see or store your card number.
Usage. Which pages and features you use, and basic technical data your browser sends (IP address, user agent). Used to keep the service running and to decide what to build next.
Newsletter. Your email address, plus whether a dispatch was delivered and opened, so we can tell whether the newsletter is working and stop sending to dead addresses.
We process account and payment data because it is necessary to provide the service you have asked for. We process usage data on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating and improving a product you are paying for. Newsletter delivery to non-subscribers is on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing.
Account data is kept while your account is open. If you delete your account we remove your personal data within 30 days, except records we are required to keep for tax and accounting — invoices, held for seven years by Paddle as merchant of record.
Usage logs are retained for 12 months and then deleted. Newsletter records are kept until you unsubscribe, after which we retain only a suppression entry (a hash of your address) so that we do not accidentally email you again.
We keep this list short on purpose. Each of these is a processor acting on our instructions, not a party we sell data to:
Some of these operate outside your country. Where personal data is transferred internationally it is covered by the standard contractual clauses in our agreements with them.
We do not sell or rent personal data. We do not run advertising networks, behavioural profiling or third-party tracking pixels. We do not use your usage data to train models. We do not share your email with other Vector Wire subscribers or with the companies we write about.
Essential cookies only — the ones that keep you signed in and hold your session. There is no advertising or cross-site tracking cookie on this site, which is why you have not been shown a consent banner: there is nothing to consent to.
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to production data is limited to accounts that need it and is authenticated; database access is governed by row-level security policies rather than relying on application code alone. We will notify affected users without undue delay if a breach affects their personal data.
You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold, correct it, export it, or delete it — including closing your account entirely. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter from any dispatch, or by asking us. Depending where you live you may also have the right to object to processing or to complain to your data protection authority.
Email support@vectorwire.ai and we will act within 30 days. We do not charge for this and we will not ask you why.
Vector Wire is a professional tool and is not intended for anyone under 16.
If we change this policy materially we will email active subscribers and update the date above. We will not quietly broaden what we collect.
