Crusoe, a data center upstart, has signed a roughly $13 billion, five-year deal with Jane Street to provide GPUs and other infrastructure for AI training and inference via its cloud platform, according to Bloomberg1,2.
The contract ranks among the largest publicly reported AI cloud commitments by a single customer. Jane Street, a quantitative trading firm, will use the infrastructure for both AI training and inference workloads.
Crusoe also holds contracts to supply AI computing power to Meta Platforms and Oracle.
ANALYSIS The Jane Street deal, combined with the existing Meta Platforms and Oracle relationships, positions Crusoe as a significant alternative to hyperscale cloud providers in the AI infrastructure market. A five-year, ~$13 billion commitment from a single customer represents substantial revenue visibility for a company described as a data center upstart.
