Microsoft announced a set of sovereign cloud capabilities spanning on-premises, hybrid, and public cloud environments1. Foundry Local and GitHub Enterprise Local will become generally available at Microsoft Ignite as validated appliances on Azure Local. Confidential virtual machines on Azure Local are now generally available, while DocumentDB and Blob Storage on Azure Local enter public preview. A Sovereign Control Panel is entering public preview at Ignite, and external key management with Azure Managed HSM reached general availability. Data Guardian and Production Touch Ledger are rolling out to EU and EFTA customers.
