Netflix disclosed a single-tenant mode for Titus, its Kubernetes-based container platform that launches millions of containers weekly across tens of thousands of EC2 instances1. Single-tenant Titus runs a task on its own EC2 instance with nothing else scheduled alongside, while preserving the existing API and deployment path. The mode is allowlisted by Netflix's Compute/Platform team rather than exposed as a general option. Managed Apache Flink stream processing, streaming data connectors, and telemetry pipelines were the first adopters. Netflix uses a differential benchmark comparing a reference container alone versus next to a "havoc" container to measure isolation.
