China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) released a five-year industry plan targeting 9,800 eflops of intelligent computing capacity by 2030, backed by 3.8 trillion yuan (approximately $532 billion) in information infrastructure investment2,1.

The plan calls for deploying AI computing clusters containing 100,000 accelerator cards as part of a broader push to expand the country's intelligent computing capacity over the next five years.
