Cloudflare announced it is bringing two publicly developed multilingual models to its Workers AI platform: EuroLLM, which supports all 24 official EU languages, and Apertus, Switzerland's fully open model trained on more than 15 trillion tokens across more than 1,500 languages1. EuroLLM was developed with Horizon Europe and EuroHPC support; Apertus was built by ETH Zurich, EPFL, and the Swiss National Supercomputing Centre as part of the Swiss AI Initiative. Users can request access now. Cloudflare also disclosed a workshop series for government cyber agencies and critical infrastructure operators, with the first session scheduled for Singapore in October.
