Entire, the developer platform founded by former GitHub CEO Thomas Dohmke, launched a Git forge on October 26 built for AI coding agents to collaborate with human developers at the speed agents generate code1,2.
The platform is available to developers now. Dohmke founded Entire earlier this year after concluding that existing developer platforms were designed before the AI coding-agent era and cannot handle the traffic agents produce. GitHub has acknowledged that agent-generated pull requests are saturating review bandwidth faster than humans can keep up.
Trails replace pull requests
Entire's core workflow change is Trails, a code-review system that replaces the traditional pull-request diff model. Trails present developers with a heads-up display, comparable to an airline cockpit, showing customized evaluations that agents score on every code push. Coding agents can address findings in a loop while the human developer validates progress; once all evals pass, the developer can merge code without inspecting the code itself. Each trail also shows how agents are spending tokens. All data is accessible through Entire's web interface and its open-source CLI.
Continuous Memory and distributed Git
Entire introduced Continuous Memory, a feature that synchronizes agent sessions with Git repositories. It consists of a codebase graph and an agentic brain that draws on previous sessions and prompts so agents avoid repeating mistakes. Entire claims the feature can deliver token savings of up to 71%. Developer session logs are stored alongside code in the repository, giving agents a searchable data source.
The platform runs on Entire's decentralized Git network, first announced in July, which is designed to withstand the surge in AI coding activity that has caused mounting GitHub outages. Entire claims code pushes can be up to 89 times faster than GitHub and six times faster than Cursor Origin. Developers can create, migrate, and host private repositories across multiple regions, starting with the US, India, Australia, and the EU.
ANALYSIS Entire's architecture treats the coding agent, not the human developer, as the primary actor in the software-development loop. The Trails system and Continuous Memory both orient around agent throughput and context retention, positioning the platform as infrastructure for a workflow where humans validate rather than write code.
