Nvidia and Apple top Trump ballroom donors at $25M each as AI giants fill roster

Nvidia and Apple led tech donors to Trump's White House ballroom at $25M each; Microsoft, Palantir, Meta, Amazon, Cisco, and ServiceNow also contributed…

Nvidia Corp. and Apple each committed $25 million to President Donald Trump's White House ballroom renovation, the largest individual contributions in a fundraising campaign that has drawn more than $330 million in total, according to documents obtained by the Washington Post1,2.

Microsoft and Palantir each contributed $10 million, while Meta and Amazon each gave $5 million. Cisco and ServiceNow each confirmed $5 million donations. The documents showed 67 contributions above $10,000 as of late September, routed through a nonprofit trust.

The roster reads like a directory of companies with active or pending federal AI business. Nvidia Corp., whose GPUs underpin most U.S. government AI compute, offered the joint-largest pledge. "As an American company, our support for the United States is paramount, and independent of any business interests," an Nvidia Corp. spokesperson told CNBC. The spokesperson added that the donation went to "a nonpartisan trust that serves all Americans".

ServiceNow, which confirmed its $5 million contribution, began a statement to CNBC referencing its "business with the U.S." before the excerpt cut off. Microsoft and Meta declined to comment on the Washington Post report.

Donors received a pledge form directing funds to the "Donald J. Trump Ballroom". The Washington Post described the fundraising campaign as "extraordinary for its size and opacity".

ANALYSIS Six of the eight named donors — Nvidia Corp., Apple, Microsoft, Meta, Amazon, and Palantir — hold substantial positions in AI infrastructure, cloud compute, or defense-AI contracting, concentrating AI-sector money at the top of the donor list.
