Meta disclosed a suite of open networking infrastructure at the 2026 Open Compute Project Global Summit, including IcePack, its first liquid-cooled network rack, and IceCube, a 102.4 Tbps switch platform with variants built on Broadcom Tomahawk6C and NVIDIA Spectrum-6 silicon1. The company also released MetaRoCE, an open-source RDMA transport protocol for AI clusters, and introduced Flattened Planar Fabric, a multiplane scale-out architecture developed with NVIDIA.
