NEURA Mobile Robots GmbH has acquired 100 percent of ADLATUS Robotics GmbH, an autonomous cleaning robotics provider based in Ulm, Germany, the company announced on August 24, 20261,2,3.
The deal brings hundreds of installed cleaning systems, proprietary navigation software, and domain expertise across industry, logistics, healthcare, and commercial and public spaces into the NEURA Robotics group. ADLATUS Robotics GmbH has spent years developing autonomous cleaning and sweeping robots for those verticals.
The acquisition follows NEURA Robotics' recent addition of Bosch Rexroth's ACTIVE Shuttle to its portfolio. Together, the moves advance a stated strategy of consolidating diverse robot types onto a shared Physical AI infrastructure — the company's Neuraverse platform — to turn individual machine intelligence into a scalable, multi-application system.
NEURA Robotics plans to equip ADLATUS Robotics GmbH systems with additional sensor and AI capabilities and gradually integrate them into the Neuraverse. The intended result: cleaning robots that move beyond following predefined routes and instead recognize different surfaces and types of soiling, interpret situations, select appropriate cleaning strategies, and learn from real-world applications. The Neuraverse enables the integration of diverse AI models, sensor data, and capabilities, transforming a specialized autonomous device into an actor within a larger Physical AI ecosystem.
The two companies have been collaborating under a strategic partnership since September 2025. Their first joint public appearance took place at CMS in Berlin.
Andreas Lindemann is Managing Director of NEURA Mobile Robots, the subsidiary executing the acquisition. NEURA Robotics was founded in 2019 and is headquartered in Metzingen, Germany. David Reger is founder and CEO of NEURA Robotics.
ANALYSIS The acquisition fits a pattern in NEURA Robotics' recent moves — absorbing established robotics operations with deployed fleets rather than building new verticals from scratch. By layering its Physical AI stack onto ADLATUS Robotics GmbH's existing installed base, the company gains a live testing ground for its Neuraverse platform in environments with variable, unstructured conditions — a meaningful step beyond the more controlled logistics use case represented by the ACTIVE Shuttle.
The deal also signals that NEURA Robotics is building breadth across robot form factors — humanoids, mobile logistics shuttles, and now cleaning machines — unified by a common AI infrastructure layer.
