The satellite led a constellation of one physical and five virtual satellites, with Hivemind and Sedaro's Autonomy Framework for the Edge (SAFE) executing 189 commands over a 24-hour window to optimize imaging, spacecraft health, battery state, and pointing. A second experiment using SAFE increased Iridium communications contact initiation by 8 percentage points. Sedaro's SAFE technology was developed under a Phase II SBIR award by SpaceWERX.
