OMODA & JAECOO will showcase a purpose-built, factory-integrated Level 4 robotaxi at its 2026 International User Summit, running October 19–24 in Wuhu, Anhui Province, China2. At the same event, the Chery-backed brand plans to sign a strategic cooperation agreement with UAE-based K2, a step the company frames as moving its driverless vehicle toward real-world commercial deployment in international markets.

More than 2,000 vehicle owners, media representatives, and ecosystem partners are expected to attend the summit, themed "DRIVE TO THE NEXT VIBE".

The vehicle is designed for end-to-end driverless operation with no onboard driver or manual intervention. Passengers book rides through a mobile app; cloud-based dispatch routes the robotaxi to the pickup location, where it activates hazard lights to signal readiness. Riders can remotely adjust cabin temperature before the vehicle arrives and unlock doors or open the trunk with a single tap.

Beyond passenger-facing features, the robotaxi supports an autonomous daily operations cycle that includes deployment, repositioning, energy replenishment, self-service cleaning, and vehicle inspections.

OMODA & JAECOO says the robotaxi follows five "native" design principles: Native Architecture, Native Factory Integration, Native Experience, Native Operations, and Native Global Adaptability. The company claims a safety management system covering six dimensions, including full-cabin passenger protection and six-fold redundant execution safety. Vehicle development reportedly accounts for regulatory requirements across multiple countries, with engineering aimed at flexible localization.

The summit will also feature what the company calls a Super Intelligent Experience Lab, focused on its SIVP and SIAS platforms.

ANALYSIS The K2 partnership positions the UAE as an early international testbed for OMODA & JAECOO's robotaxi outside China. Whether the agreement leads to permitted commercial service will depend on regulatory clearance that neither party has disclosed.
