Snowflake disclosed that its Observe platform will gain Agent Observability capabilities, entering private preview soon1. The feature derives latency, error, token usage, and estimated cost signals from agent traces, enabling teams to monitor performance and run online LLM-as-judge evaluations against production traffic. The SDK includes support for LangChain, the Anthropic Agents SDK, and the OpenAI Agents SDK. Instrumentation uses an optional OpenTelemetry-compliant SDK or existing OTel-native collection through an OTLP endpoint. A launch event featuring Jeremy Burton and Christian Kleinerman is scheduled for Oct. 22.
