L3Harris has licensed Shield AI's Tracker C-UAS software for integration into its VAMPIRE counter-drone platform following joint demonstrations, according to Shield AI1. Tracker C-UAS uses computer vision and deep learning to detect, track, and geolocate airborne objects from EO/IR sensors, including targets as small as 2×2 pixels in video. VAMPIRE systems have logged more than 350,000 operational hours since 2023 and shot down hundreds of hostile drones in combat, including in Ukraine. The integration reduces manual handoffs between sensor and effector in counter-UAS engagements.
